P0Scope and project controlsComplete1 / 1 acceptance milestones

Maintain the register at each material session close.

Depends on: No earlier phase

  • Current plan, history and full-scope register reconciledComplete

Keep one current plan, one history and reconciled phase, editorial and visual registers.

P1Evidence and data integrityUnder way2 / 5 acceptance milestones

Audit remaining unit metadata and historical variants alongside each source-led unit enrichment.

Depends on: No earlier phase

  • Research holdings and finding aids registeredComplete

Registered holdings and finding aids remain distinct from verified claims.

  • Audit matrix definitions, periods, rounding and historical variantsQueued

Every retained unit has checked quantity, period, region, provenance, precision and uncertainty; shared outputs agree.

  • Close source gaps for every retained commissionQueued

Every retained commission has sufficient checked source evidence or an explicit owner scope decision.

  • Five visual specimen definitions and metadata pitfalls reviewedComplete

Five family specimens and their metadata pitfalls have dated evidence.

  • Quotation, attribution and evidence-label integrityQueued

Verify retained quotations, locators, rights and measured versus reconstructed or interpretive labels against original sources; close discrepancies across related pages.

P2Editorial enrichmentUnder way17 / 230 enrichments

Ancient Measures for Historical Fiction; Alexandria to Syene awaits its specific textual and stadion evidence.

Depends on: Evidence and data integrity

  • Recheck published studies and their completion claimsQueued

Recheck all currently published enrichments against their source and release evidence; record the reviewed cohort and resolve or explicitly flag any failed claim. This audit does not add published articles.

  • Score published studies for a clear narrative and revise those that failQueued

Score every currently published enrichment against the article plan's seven-criterion narrative rubric; record scores and failing criteria; revise only failing pages through the normal article gates. This audit does not add published articles.

P3Unit infographic upgradesUnder way0 / 191 visual upgrades

Five family specimens checked. Publish each individual upgrade with its source-led unit enrichment.

Depends on: Evidence and data integrity

  • Five family design specimens validated; individual upgrades remain separateComplete

Five exemplar families are validated; each of the 191 units still requires individual acceptance.

P4Converter and interaction assuranceQueued0 / 6 acceptance milestones

Verify dimensional consistency, boundary inputs, uncertainty, shared links and source alignment across all six tools.

Depends on: Evidence and data integrity

  • Length converter acceptance reviewQueued

Check independent calculations, dimensions, round trips, boundary and invalid inputs, precision, uncertainty, share links and keyboard operation.

  • Weight converter acceptance reviewQueued

Check independent calculations, dimensions, round trips, boundary and invalid inputs, precision, uncertainty, share links and keyboard operation.

  • Time converter acceptance reviewQueued

Check independent calculations, dimensions, round trips, boundary and invalid inputs, precision, uncertainty, share links and keyboard operation.

  • Liquid converter acceptance reviewQueued

Check independent calculations, dimensions, round trips, boundary and invalid inputs, precision, uncertainty, share links and keyboard operation.

  • Area converter acceptance reviewQueued

Check independent calculations, dimensions, round trips, boundary and invalid inputs, precision, uncertainty, share links and keyboard operation.

  • Treasure converter acceptance reviewQueued

Check independent calculations, dimensions, round trips, boundary and invalid inputs, precision, uncertainty, share links and keyboard operation.

P5Site quality and accessibilityUnder way2 / 10 acceptance milestones

Audit shared component consistency and reader-facing content/status, then continue the remaining quality gates.

Depends on: No earlier phase

  • Responsive, keyboard, contrast and accessible diagramsQueued

Review every template and interactive at desktop and 320/360 px, keyboard, focus, contrast, text resizing and reduced motion; close critical and high defects.

  • Routes, internal links, canonical, schema and sitemapQueued

All canonical routes, links, schema, sitemap, robots and branded error responses pass a dated site-wide audit.

  • Performance and resilient no-script behaviourQueued

Measure representative pages, no-script access and failure states; meet budgets or document justified exceptions.

  • Authorship, corrections, privacy and editorial standardsQueued

Verify visible authorship, contact, corrections, accessibility, privacy and editorial disclosures against current standards.

  • CSS remediation across production pages and generatorsComplete

All 261 production HTML pages contain no inline or embedded CSS; assets JavaScript contains no presentation-style writes; Units generator and both temple repairs pass source and rendered acceptance.

  • CSS source baseline: 261 pages inspected, 3 need repairComplete

Dated inventory identifies every HTML inline attribute and embedded style block; this is a source baseline, not visual acceptance.

  • Shared components and exemplar consistencyQueued

Inventory production components and loaded styles, compare each component family with original design boards at desktop and mobile, consolidate repeated rules and repair generator drift without changing protected exemplars.

  • Reader-facing content and status accuracyUnder way

Audit articles, hubs, tools, Blog and policy pages for internal notes, stale completion claims, dead labels and unsupported badges; retain useful provenance and research uncertainty.

  • Image, font and page-weight reviewQueued

Inventory loaded assets, document budget exceptions, check image rights and useful alternatives, dimensions, modern formats, font scope and Core Web Vitals; optimise only with measured benefit.

  • Repeatable release checks for repaired defectsUnder way

Add targeted checks for CSS and generator regressions, completion evidence, public-field boundaries and component drift; prove checks reject representative bad fixtures before enforcing them.

P6Measurement and search evidenceBlocked0 / 3 acceptance milestones

Obtain current authenticated reports; old setup evidence is not a current traffic audit.

Blocked: Current authenticated search and analytics reports are required.

Depends on: No earlier phase

  • Reconcile a closed Search Console and analytics cohortBlocked

Reconcile like-for-like closed search and analytics windows, with scope and attribution limitations recorded.

  • Inspect current-sitemap coverage and representative canonicalsBlocked

Check current-sitemap coverage and representative canonical pages using authenticated reports.

  • Validate normal-traffic outcomes and key-event readinessBlocked

Verify normal-traffic outcomes and exclusions before key-event marking.

P7Reader discovery and return visitsQueued0 / 3 acceptance milestones

Build the verified-findings register and feed; publish only findings checked against released pages.

Depends on: Editorial enrichment

  • Recent verified pages with one useful sourced findingQueued

Each public finding has a released page, genuine verification date and checked evidence.

  • Validated Atom feed of newly verified pagesQueued

Validate feed IDs, dates, links, XML and discovery; report submission separately.

  • Evidence-led internal discovery and search opportunity reviewQueued

Review hubs, related studies, tools and sources for useful reading paths; new page ideas require distinct intent and evidence.

P8Programme acceptance and handoverBlocked0 / 3 acceptance milestones

Complete all finite work, reconcile evidence, then assess advertising eligibility and seek explicit submission approval.

Blocked: Earlier finite work and its acceptance evidence must be complete.

Depends on: Scope and project controls, Evidence and data integrity, Editorial enrichment, Unit infographic upgrades, Converter and interaction assurance, Site quality and accessibility, Measurement and search evidence, Reader discovery and return visits

  • Independent final content, visual, tool and quality reconciliationBlocked

Reconcile all finite work and evidence, with no unresolved critical or high defects.

  • Final public acceptance and scope closureBlocked

Verify final public content, tools, routes and scope closure.

  • Maintenance ownership, cadence and recovery handoverBlocked

Record maintenance ownership, cadence and tested recovery procedure.

03 · Where every commission stands

One square for every study.

Each square is one commission, grouped by block. Solid gold is a published enrichment, the dashed square is next, an open square awaits work or evidence and a dotted square is a page not yet built. Select a square to open its page.

06 · Recent and next

Latest studies, and what follows.

The next study follows queue priority and its evidence requirements; a missing source can change the order. This is not a publication schedule.

Continuing care

  • Research and correction upkeepOn new evidence; quarterly review
  • Technical, source-link and accessibility checksEach release; quarterly full audit
  • Search and analytics reviewMonthly once reliable; weekly while resolving defects
  • Technical Build Log and portfolio discoveryWhen a release provides a substantive useful entry
  • Continuous improvement and progress reconciliationEvery material session; resolve eligible decisions and carry evidence forward

Recurring care sits outside finite completion and is never permanently finished. Advertising waits for the finite plan, evidenced eligibility and the owner's explicit approval.

07 · How we count

A measure needs a definition.

Published
An active commission recorded as a completed enrichment. It does not mean every page has been reviewed.
Available
Existing editorial detail pages. Hubs, tools, Blog and policy pages sit outside the article count.
Acceptance step
A named check a phase must pass, complete only with recorded evidence. Working tools are not unfinished because a review is queued.
Words
Recorded lengths of published articles. Length is context, not a quality score or a target to fill.
Sources
Registered research works and their page extents, not verified claims.
Updates
Regenerated with the homepage, temple and unit graphics whenever a material session closes. These are project figures, not visitor analytics.

No completion forecast is given: a unit dossier and a monument study can need very different amounts of research. Read the build log.
